Carbon Offsetting and Sustainability

The Earth is important to us - we are doing all we can to ensure that we are aware of our carbon footprint and maintaining practises to keep it as low as possible.

Our jewellery is manufactured close to home, in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter. We partner with a small family ran atelier, who employ locally and source high quality craftsmen to produce our collections. Our HQ is located only 100 miles away in South London, meaning unlike a lot of other jewellery manufacturers available on the market today, we do not have to ship, fly or use rail from start to finish to allow our jewellery to reach us, and then you. We only use road transport for our jewellery from manufacture to customer.

With this, we partner with APC Overnight to ship out orders. APC are proud of their sustainability practices, and they ensure they carefully plan and model their trunking schedules to achieve route optimisation, best use of available resources and reduce their Co2 emissions.

We at Sixthsaint are proud to be able to say that we offset all of our carbon emissions, by partnering with Pachama. Our offsetting is currently funding the Acapa - Bajo Mira y Frontera REDD+ Avoided Unplanned Deforestation project. This is a Verified Carbon Standard certified project, verified by Pachama using their monitoring technology. Our funding goes towards protecting the existing forest, improving the biomass through better forest management practices, and verifying the progress of the project.
